Christmas Presents

I have had quite a few people ask for me to take pictures of them and their siblings for Christmas presents for family members, friends, and God parents. I had not really thought of it at the beginning of the Christmas season, but it has been working out really well. It has been really fun and a little surprise for someone else brings a little extra excitement to the table. Unfortunately, I cannot post any of these pictures until after Christmas because I, as well as clients, don't want their families seeing beforehand. Let me know if you are interested!! :)

Baby Trey

On November 5, baby Trey made his way into the world. 16 days later, I had the privilege to take a couple hundred picturea of him. It was my first newborn shoot and I enjoyed every minute of it. He was such a sweet, calm baby and his mom, Felicity, was great with helping me out and thinking of ideas. Hopefully I will be able to do more shoots like this in the future. :)

Palo Christmas Pictures

Today I took the pictures for the Palo family. I always love seeing them! They are such a fun family and it doesn't hurt that they're beautiful! I hope you like them. :)

Yancey Clan

Here was a little bit of the test shoot from Thursday night with the new lighting. They're a goofy crew and I love hanging out with them. :)

New Things

I'm getting a lovely shipment of new equipment on Monday. It's like my birthday is coming 3 months early and I had to pay for my own birthday presents.. But I'm excited like it's my birthday. Anyway, the things I am getting will make indoor shoots as well as newborn shoots a lot easier and better. I am so excited about everything that is happening and it wouldn't be possible without the support of my friends and family. :)

The City

At the beginning of the semester I thought having to go to school in New Orleans 3 times per week would be terrible. It has instead given me the opportunity and time, that I wouldn't otherwise take, to get to know City Park and what it has to offer. This is just one of the things I have captured on a walk around the park. It isn't much, but I really love it.
